The Forerunners
In the late 2070s, war and ecological collapse pushed Earth civilization toward its end, and conflict stripped the Solar System of hope. To keep humanity alive, a group of survivors secretly launched The Embarkation Plan, building The Embarkation Vessel and attempting to leave the dying Solar System through immature wormhole technology. The plan succeeded: after crossing the wormhole and voyaging for years, the vessel reached an unknown planet later named The Star of Embarkation. From Earth's ending to a new beginning in another world, five core leaders carried this process forward. Because their achievement saved humanity, they were later remembered together as The Forerunners.

Dyson
Engineer and designer. Dyson led the design, construction, and maintenance of The Embarkation Vessel, and after the crash he helped direct the construction of Ruins City. He turned humanity's final escape plan into a ship capable of reaching a new world.

Seth
Physicist and astronomer. Seth was responsible for the key technologies of The Embarkation Plan, including the wormhole engine and route planning. His work allowed humanity to truly cross the distance beyond the Solar System for the first time.

Lucian
Psychologist and politician. On Earth, Lucian helped defend the vessel from enemies who tried to seize it; during the voyage, he managed social order, and after arrival he helped build the legal and security systems. What he maintained was not the ship itself, but a human society still able to live together in disaster.

Linnea
Biologist and medical scientist. Linnea handled talent recruitment, medicine, life support, and the ecological cycle. She ensured that The Embarkation Plan carried not only a machine, but people who could survive, arrive, and continue.

Hilda
Sociologist and economist. Hilda secured weapons, materials, and supplies for the plan, and maintained production during the voyage. After reaching The Star of Embarkation, she began exploring land, resources, and new spaces for survival.
The five Forerunners represented engineering, science, order, life, and resources. The Embarkation Vessel could be built, leave Earth, complete its voyage, and allow humanity to rebuild society in another world only because every one of these roles existed. To the first generation of survivors, they were not distant names in history, but the people who personally carried humanity from the end of one civilization to the beginning of another. This is the true origin of the title "Forerunner."
